Terms of Service

Welcome. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a contract between you and UR Invited ("we," "our," or "us"), the operator of urinvited.store. By using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority where you live) to create an account. By using UR Invited, you confirm that you can form a binding contract with us.

2. Your account

• Provide accurate, current information when signing up.
• Keep your password confidential. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account.
• Notify us promptly at hello@urinvited.store if you suspect unauthorized access.
• One person or organization per account. Don't share accounts to evade limits.

3. The service

UR Invited provides a platform for creating and sharing animated invitation websites. Each invitation gets a unique URL and QR code, an RSVP system, and a host dashboard. We may add, change, or remove features over time. We'll give reasonable notice for changes that materially affect paid features.

4. Your content

Ownership

You own everything you upload — names, photos, messages, guest lists ("Your Content"). We don't claim any ownership.

License to us

You grant UR Invited a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, and distribute Your Content solely for the purpose of operating the service — e.g., showing your invitation to guests at the URL you share, sending RSVP emails, and serving it from our infrastructure. This license ends when you delete the content or close your account.

Your responsibility

You promise that Your Content doesn't infringe anyone else's rights, doesn't include personal information of minors without parental consent, and doesn't violate the law. If you upload photos of other people, you confirm you have the right to share their image.

5. Acceptable use

Don't use UR Invited to:

• Send spam or unsolicited marketing to recipients who didn't ask for it.
• Host illegal, harmful, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or hateful content.
• Phish, defraud, or impersonate another person or business.
• Infringe copyright, trademark, or any other intellectual property right.
• Distribute malware, viruses, or any harmful code.
• Attack, overload, probe, or scan the service or its infrastructure.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or copy substantial portions of the service.
• Resell or relabel UR Invited as your own product without a written agreement.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules.

6. Payments & refunds

Pricing

Some invitation templates are paid. The price is shown clearly before you publish. Prices are in US dollars, and you authorize us (and our payment processor, Stripe) to charge the payment method you provide.

Taxes

Prices may or may not include sales tax. Any required taxes are your responsibility.

Refund policy

Because invitations are digital goods delivered immediately upon publishing, all sales are final once you publish. That said, we want you happy:

• If you bought an invitation in the last 7 days and haven't shared the link with any guests, email us within those 7 days for a full refund.
• If the service was broken on our end (couldn't deliver, technical defect, paid feature didn't work), email us and we'll either fix it, credit you, or refund you.
• Chargebacks before contacting us may result in account suspension.

7. Our intellectual property

The UR Invited name, logo, templates, animations, code, copy, illustrations, and overall design are owned by us and protected by copyright and trademark law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the templates you've paid for, within an invitation you publish through our service. You may not:

• Download, redistribute, or sell our templates, animations, or assets outside the service.
• Use our brand, name, or logo without our written permission.
• Remove or alter any attribution we include.

8. Third-party services

We rely on third parties (Stripe for payments, Resend for email, Railway for hosting, etc.) to run the service. Their terms and privacy policies apply to the parts of the experience they provide. We're not responsible for the practices of third-party services we link to.

9. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from the dashboard or by emailing us. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the service, or expose us to legal risk. On termination, your right to use the service ends immediately; we may delete your data after a reasonable grace period in line with the Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available." We don't guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific result (e.g., guest open rates, RSVP responses) will occur. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, UR Invited and its owners, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost profits, lost data, or loss of goodwill — arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim related to the service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD $100.

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless UR Invited from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of Your Content, your use of the service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

13. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. You and UR Invited agree to resolve disputes in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there. If a dispute can be resolved in small claims court, either party may bring it there.

Informal resolution first. Before filing anything, email hello@urinvited.store with a description of the issue. We commit to working with you in good faith for 30 days to resolve it.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced by email or with a visible notice on the site at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
